My imaginary museum part 2: Childhood songs

It now the time to keep writing about my imaginary museum.
Do you remenber the rules i imposed myself, when i didn't find a way  to answer the bloggers's tag questions.
The movie of my mind and a good way to inderstand where are coming my inspirations.

This time i try to think about the music i was hearing when i was a child and not yet a kid.
The end of the 70's and the mid 80's.
When i search for music videos, it was hard to decide , i came up with 20 of them.
I will post about the Chilhood Music of my imaginary museum: 4 differents posts.

Next, week i would like to post about vintage, and i had to finally write about my last trip to NY and Florence.
I hope to have the time this week.

Madonna - "Into the Groove"-1985
I was listening the album with my sister while playing Barbie (of course....) and we were looking the movie: "Desperately Seeking Susan". This is one of the worst movie of the 80's.
In 85, I think all the little girls in America and Europa were dancing on this record.

Mozart from "Die Zauberflöte":"Der Hölle Rache"
I wanted badly at 10 to become an opera singer.
I saw operas and concerts and i was so impress by the conductors and the divas.
I was trying to sing the chorus very badly under the shower ( Damm...my poor familly had to endure that).

Cyndi Lauper-All through the night-1983
She was my favorite singer, i was loving her crazy style and sweet behaviors.
" She's So Unusual" (1983) was the first vinyl, i ever owned. Lauper is still for me one of the best singer living today.
The record was playing all day in my room. I remenber that the single "Girls just want to have fun" was a number 1.
I saw this concert on the french TV and was very impressed by her voice in Live. I have been so moved.
Even if i was enjoying the Madonna album, Cyndi surpassed her by her voice, swing and style.

Jean Michel Jarre-Zoolook-1984
This album and artist are linked to the work of my parents. My parents were devoted with passion and energy to work.
This kind of music was playing all day or i was sleeping sometimes in recording studios.
I had a true affection for this video and music. But this sound was linked to sad feelings too, my parents were working very hard , travelling for business far way from us. A child don't always understand why ...
All childs, feel this someday. The video is from Caro & Genet.

Lio-Bananasplit
this song was playing in my familly house juxebox. Inside thay was a lot of rock songs but this was my best dance song ever.
When people were outside in the garden at night the juxebox was playing and we were parting untill bedtime.
I wasn't understanding the erotical meaning of this song at the time.

STYLE ICON - The Queen of the Punk - Edwige Belmore

Mathématiques Modernes-Disco Rough album-photo: Pierre et Gilles

Today, the word: Punk is used without any knowledge of who were
the real punk icons of the 70's: Punk today is only a fashion style.
Rediscover or discover one of them: Edwige Belmore.
When i see model Agnyness Deyn, i think about only about Edwige.

"1977. PARIS IS PUNK...
The scene explodes, the bands go wild. Edwige throws herself into the fray,
briefly joining LUV, the legendary girl group.
That same year, she marries Jean Louis Jorge, Dominican filmmaker,
She is crowned "Queen of Punks" after appearing on the cover of Façade
with Andy Warhol, with whom she makes her first trip to New York.
He mentions her in his Diaries, photographs her, takes her to Studio 54
and the Mudd Club where she meets the elite of the NY underground:
Maripol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Kenny Scharf,
the punk and No Wave groups.

On Edwige’s return to Paris, Fabrice Aymer offered her
the door at the Palace for its opening in '78.
Edwige was photographed by Helmut Newton, Mondino,
Pierre and Gilles, among others;
she walked the runway for Jean-Paul Gaultier and Thierry Mugler.

In 1979, Claude Arto approached her and
 together they formed "Mathématiques Modernes."
Their single "Disco Rough" came out in 1980
and was NME's "single of the week."
Album art was by Pierre & Gilles.

FOR THE LOVE OF BLOGS: Bloglovin' and My favorite Fashion bloggers

My addiction for blogs is quite new ( just last april). When, i began blogging i wasn't familliar with other blogs. Quite soon, i add every blogs that had interest to my Google reader. Soon, i was following 100 blogs.....Very fast, i was lost: Art,Trend,Street fashion, general fashion, Design, Luxe and Marketing, Photography and the favorite Blogs..... Too much to read everyday and it began to take to much time. During summer, i didn't open daily my blog feeds and i decide to stop this waisting of time. I was reading other blogs and i wasn't writing mine.
Now, i came accross a really smart website called Bloglovin

Bloglovin’ tells you when one of your favorite bloggers has written a new post, so you don’t have to waste time on visiting blogs that aren’t updated (check out the video above).
Unlike google reader, bloglovin’ give’s you the real deal (you get to see the layout, comments etc.) and they add this bar at the bottom of your browser which allows you to read a post and then click “next” to read the next new entry and so on. It provides a flow to your reading. It’s like flipping through a magazine with new post’s from your favorite blogs.

I was just add today so add me.....
Now you can follow my blog with bloglovin - Just check this link

Some people don't like monday.
Well, i just have to say that i enjoy it when a blogger awards me.

Merci to Everybody Says Don't for this gift.
Now, i have to tag 5 awarded blogs.
It's just to difficult to choose ......

So, i will only choose fashion blogs this time.
The winner are:

Louise By Garance Doré

Sussie in Paris last fashion week

Betty At the Puces de St Ouen
